Working Nights STINKS!

I HATE that Judd works nights :( I think that the wives of his coworkers must hate them to not care if they are gone all of the time. (At least this is my hypothesis.) That is my two cents worth.

My Newest Niece!

So, I know that it has been a while since we have posted anything, but alas... My life has become, for lack of a better word, UNEVENTFUL. A welcome break came with the addition of my niece Jocelyn Nicole Brough. Weighing in at 6 pounds 8 ounces, and measuring 19 inches, she arrived at 9:45 AM on Friday the 18th. From the pictures you can tell she has a full head of red hair! Seeing the pictures just makes me more impatient for the arrival of our own little girl.

Removing a chimney

I know you are all getting a good laugh out of my falling on my butt, but we did get the chimney down. Although Shane did get hit in and foot and had a good bruise for a couple of weeks, but he is all better now.

Judd and Shane got together a few weekends ago to remove the leaning tower of chimney that has been haunting the back side of our house. I was recording it (per Judd's request)... And I am so glad I did! This is hilarious! Enjoy.

Meet.....My Monkey.

We have a giant willow tree in our back yard, and for the past ten years or more the previous owners had refused to trim it, so Judd and his cousin Shane came up with a perfect way to make trimming a tree fun.... They ascend and repell... Up and down they went trimming branch by branch. To tell you the truth I was pretty jealous that I couldn't be up there with them, so I decided to document it.... I kept waiting for one of them to fall so I could get it on tape.... Not that I wanted them to fall, I just wanted to document the episode if they happened to do so. Judd now comes home from work and goes straight to the tree to "trim it". Our poor tree is not going to have any banches left because he enjoys "trimming it" so much. On Saturday he went out and got what he calls his "favorite new toy"... a chainsaw. I should have known that it would create a tree trimming monster. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

Who Ever Said Work Was Boring??

Now that summer is here, I have tons of time to go crazy in my office... Since school is out for the majority of "normal" people, we have no patients to take care of, so I get a little bored. It's amazing how interesting push pins can become when you have nothing better to do...PICTURES FROM THE OFFICE:

For those of you who guessed BOY.... You are WRONG! We are having a girl! This picture is of her foot. The other foot is right underneath, both were constantly moving throughout the ultrasound. It was so neat to see her.. It was simultaneously exciting and frightening. Frightening because I started wondering about what all moms probably are concerned about... Will I be a good mom? What if something happens.. etc etc. But still it was so EXCITING!
This is a side view picture. It's kind of hard to tell, but her knees are in her face, and her legs are straight! That's right, we have one little flexible girl. She was so balled up in there that the technician had a difficult time getting the pictures that she needed. We didn't complain because we got to see her for a longer period of time while the technician poked at my belly trying to get her to uncurl. Her arms were behind her head as if she were kicked back relaxing. ENJOY.
